The Snack Taco with 8g net carbs is the most keto-friendly option at Del Taco. You can further order burritos, salads, and burgers if you ditch the tortilla and buns.
You probably guessed it right. There are a lot of items at a Mexican restaurant that don’t fit the keto bill.
But with a few smart alterations, you can turn almost any Del Taco dish keto-friendly (e.g. burrito wraps without the tortilla).
Del taco is one of those rare Mexican restaurants that also serve burgers. It means you get to enjoy those juicy meat patties (without the buns, of course!) along with the goodness of carne asada and guacamole.
If you really want the real thing (i.e. a proper taco), then limit yourself to a maximum of 1 taco.
We’ve compiled a quick list of every keto-friendly option available at Del Taco.

Tacos are the only option at Del Taco that is low-carb without any alterations.
But if you really want to maximize your options and save up on carbs, I recommend ditching the taco shells/tortillas.
What’s inside: Seasoned beef, crisp shredded lettuce, fresh house-grated cheddar cheese in a crunchy corn shell
Net carbs: 8g (Including the shell).
What’s inside: Seasoned Beyond Meat plant-based crumbles, fresh house-grated cheddar cheese, crisp shredded lettuce, and fresh diced tomatoes in a crunchy corn shell
Net carbs: 14g (Including the shell)
You can also go for the Guacamole variant for an additional 1g of net carb.
What’s inside: Freshly grilled carne asada, topped with diced onions, and fresh cilantro, and drizzled with tangy green sauce, wrapped in a warm corn tortilla

They also have a guacamole variant for negligible additional net carbs.

In my opinion, salads are the most nutritious and keto-friendly option at Del Taco. And they’re quite filling too!
You just have to gather some willpower and through away those tortilla chips (I know that’s tough!)
If the salads feel a bit boring, use sour cream, cheese, and guacamole in place of sauces.
Note: Del Taco’s website doesn’t mention the exact carbs in their tortilla chips. We searched through several databases (like this one), and estimate the chips to be 12g of net carbs.
